Louis Daguerre

Louis Daguerre was one of the first photogrpahers ever. He DID NOT, however invent photography. He did however, take credit for the daguerreotype, which is aweseome. His images are really really interesting, and these were all the images i can find.

This is Louis Daguerre's self portrait. He is a french person, and he looks french. I am a fan of this, just because he is an innovater, and a sweet photographer.

This image interests me. This is a street in paris. The strange thing is, the street looks totally empty. Paris is a vary poupulous city, and this looks totally empty. It feels like i'm looking at something naughty, something that i am not ment to see. Like naked paris.

I am not 100% sure, but i am fairly certain that this is a magnified version of the second image. I like th ebig one better, however, because it has more information and it has more interesting things to look at.

This is a scan of an orignal Daguerre image. This one is my seciond favorite out of this batch of Daguerre images. The reason i like it is becasue it makes me feel like I am in fairy land. The castle is so serene and the tome of the image is so soft i just want to play on the grounds of the image.

The one is is my favorite. It has really sweet leading lines, and it has fabulous lighting. The broken down cathedral and the sillouttes of the building make the image interesting and beautiful. It makes me wonder what the arch has been abandoned, and why no one vistis it anymore.
