These are the images that i did not print. I actually like some images in this bunch better than some of the ones that i did print, but i had already filled my quota for printed images, alas, slade would not allow me to print them. Numbers 1,3 and 8 fall in this catagory. My favorite of this bunch is number one, the one of the watermelon. I LOVE it! this was taken after i had printed all of my pics, but it is still top 3 of this shoot. how i took this is i held a slice of watermelon up to my ridiculously bright lights and Voila! i love the patten it made with the darker middle. it is really sharp, and you can see the grain of the watermelon. I also really like the artichoke, but i do not think i corrected it as well as the watermelon. I realize that i have alot of cabbage, but they are the Best ones. My poor little cabbage, who i had very little hopes for, was my knight in shining armor. Grapefriut did not prove as useful, but it still came through for me. Initally, i was shooting like a scientific experiment, lights beeming down on it. After that first time, slade told me to play with the light, and i took off! yay lighting! at one point i was holding the lights with my toes, and taking pictures with my hands. Back to critique. Ok, so one that i am not crazy about is number 4. I like it alright, because of the lighting and the technichal quality of the image, but the actual image is nit my favorite. If one had to be voted off the island, i would pick that one.
One of the things that woirked very well is holding up fruit to shine through the light. Even though these are the ones i did not print, i would fight harder for them to make the edit than for some that i did print.
