I'm not going to lie, i dont even know what this thing is. But it is circular, and i do like the image in a rusted out kind of way. I wish i would have shot this in better lighting, because it was dusky when I found it, but i still like it.

This is a vase my dear mother made in college. I think that the cracks make it interesting, but again, i think that the lighting is less than ideal.

This one is interesting because of the color. I think that it looks like "photo Ketchup", but hand to god I did not mess with the colors. (well, a little white balance, but it was minimal). This one is my favorite of this assignment because of the color, and the exposure is the best in this one. The favoritism is more technical than compositional.

This one is an interesting. It is actually the drain of a public water fountain. Never fear, i did not drink out of it, but it did look sweet. It is a touch out of focus, however, which slows my liking of it considerably.

I honestly don't know what this is, but it looked cool, and the top was tack sharp. Plus, i think that the image balances well.

This is a metal saucer that goes to my coffee maker. It was photographed in tugsten lighting, which, admittedly, was not the best idea i have ever had. It makes it look yellow, but if i take any yellow out, the whole thing looks really blue. I wish i had used a broader depth of field because i would have liked the whole thing to be in focus rather than just the one bit, but you win some and you loose some.
this assignment seemed much harder than it actually was. I enjoyed shooting it, and i think that it was useful to connect images as i am shooting them rather then trying to force images together that dont belong. Next time i would do 2 things differently: First, i would pay more attention to the depth of field and focus, and Second i would choose something a little more challenging to rhyme. I anticipated it to be much harder than it was and to offset that i used a relatively easy thing to rhyme, but know that i know i would pick someting a little more challenging.
